AZMG Rules and Core Values

Our club is not just about wearing costumes but also about embodying the core values that Power Rangers represent. Below you’ll find the core values and rules of the Arizona Morphin Grid Costume Club:

1. Teamwork

  • Collaborate and Support: Work together with fellow club members to ensure the success of events and activities. Offer help and support to those who may need assistance with their costumes or other preparations.
  • Inclusive Environment: Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and included. Encourage participation from all members, regardless of experience or skill level.
  • Group Activities: Participate actively in group activities, including rehearsals, photoshoots, and public appearances. Understand that we function best when we operate as a cohesive team.

2. Responsibility

  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for all club meetings, events, and activities. If you are unable to attend, please notify the club leaders in advance.
  • Costume Care: Take good care of your costume and props. Ensure they are maintained, cleaned, and repaired as needed to keep them in top condition.
  • Role Fulfillment: Fulfill any roles or responsibilities you may have within the club diligently, whether it’s as a costume committee member, event organizer, or photographer.

3. Respect

  • Respectful Behavior: Treat all members, volunteers, and the public with kindness and respect. Avoid behavior that could be seen as disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful.
  • Constructive Feedback: Provide constructive feedback in a positive and supportive manner. Avoid criticism that could discourage or demoralize fellow members.
  • Privacy and Consent: Always ask for permission before taking photos of or with other members. Respect the privacy and boundaries of others.

4. Integrity

  • Honesty: Be honest and transparent in all club dealings. This includes the creation and portrayal of costumes, participation in events, and interactions with other members.
  • Ownership: Take ownership of your actions and decisions. If you make a mistake, acknowledge it and take steps to rectify it.
  • Ethical Representation: Represent the Power Rangers brand and the club with integrity. Avoid actions that could negatively impact the reputation of the club or its members.

5. Courage

  • Step Out of Your Comfort Zone: Be willing to try new things. Whether it’s attempting a new costume technique or speaking in front of a crowd, embrace challenges with a positive attitude.
  • Stand Up for What’s Right: Stand up against bullying, discrimination, and any form of injustice within the club. Support fellow members who may need assistance in difficult situations.
  • Personal Growth: Use your experiences in the club to grow personally and develop new skills. Encourage others to do the same by sharing knowledge and experiences.

6. Commitment

  • Active Participation: Commit to being an active member of the club. Attend meetings, participate in discussions, and contribute to club activities.
  • Long-Term Goals: Work towards the long-term goals of the club, whether it’s improving costume quality, increasing community outreach, or organizing larger events.
  • Supportive Community: Foster a sense of community and camaraderie among members. Support each other in achieving personal and club-related goals.

By adhering to these rules, we can create a positive, supportive, and dynamic environment that reflects the true spirit of the Power Rangers. Let's work together to make our club a shining example of what it means to be a Power Ranger, both in costume and character!
